Tamatabi 20260224 Vietnam.Ha Noi I'm travelling by bicycle and like staying in cheap hotels, but the room has to be clean. I paid 400vnd for a room with a bathroom. It wasn't bad, just small, maybe too small. The elevator machine is very noisy, especially on the 6th flour. Have a nice day.

The room was disgusting. Everything that could be dirty was dirty: stains on the floor and walls, dust everywhere, and a foot towel that had clearly been used before. There was even a dirty boot mark on our bedsheet. The toilet was designed so badly that washing meant getting everything around it wet, including the toilet paper. Its shower handle hung from one pin, was loose on the wall, and fell off several times while we used it. Apparently nobody had bothered fixing it. It takes half an hour to get to the hotel from the old town because of the very narrow streets, where you can only go about 20 km/h at most. Staff couldn't understand English at all, and even trying to communicate with a translator was difficult. Don't be fooled by the “3 stars.” They mean absolutely nothing here.

Please don't book here. During dinner, a significant amount of money was taken from our hotel room. We'd noticed suspicious behavior from one staff member beforehand, so we realized what had happened right away and confronted them. After 30 minutes, the guy who worked at the hotel returned the exact notes that were missing. They did waive our hotel fee, at least, but the rest of the staff, including the manager, acted really unprofessionally and seemed not to care. We could only communicate through Google translator because nobody spoke any English. The rooms are quite nice and tidy, but that doesn't help when your money is stolen. I don't want to know how many times he's already gotten away with it. This was the worst experience of our 3 months travelling in Asia.
