Saigon Palace by OYO Rooms

It’s a long way from the city centre, but the low price makes it an okay place to stay.

Really great ❤️

It was okay.

I had a bad experience and never got to stay at this hotel, so I can’t comment on the rooms, cleanliness, or other services. I booked through Agoda and paid by card there, but Agoda passed the booking to OYO somehow, and when I arrived the hotel wouldn’t let me check in unless I paid cash. I called Agoda, but their Vietnamese support person was on leave, so I had to speak English with another supporter. Their accent, which sounded Malaysian or Filipino to me, was quite hard to understand. After some discussion, Agoda offered to move me to a similarly priced hotel and promised it would be within 1 km of the original. Fifteen minutes later, I was told the new place was 5 km away. I didn’t want to call support again, so I went with the replacement. Agoda handled the whole thing terribly.
