San Boutique Hotel

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service made our stay enjoyable. The location was convenient, and the rooms were comfortable and good value for what we paid. The only drawbacks were slightly weak shower pressure and a few parts of the hotel that felt a bit outdated. We had a pleasant stay and would consider coming back.

Being right in the Old Quarter meant we could walk to just about everything in five minutes, and the hotel was surprisingly quiet despite the busy streets. I used it as a base between trips and stayed in four different rooms. Each had air conditioning, daily housekeeping, clean towels, hot water, bottled water, and tea and coffee. The balcony rooms cost extra but were much larger, so I thought they were worth it. Cara, the hotel’s dedicated customer care, was on top of anything we needed and would arrange it or find out for us. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink and fruit, and staff carried our bags and showed us to the room. Breakfast on the ninth-floor rooftop was plentiful and good quality, though the lift only reaches the seventh floor, so there are steps after that. The rooms were fine, but the windowless ones felt a bit claustrophobic. The dark furniture was hard to see, and I bumped into the bed legs countless times. Still, it was a very pleasant stay.

The staff were so helpful, even keeping my bags while I traveled outside Hanoi and letting me use a shower after checkout. They were very accommodating throughout. My room suited me perfectly, and breakfast was very good. I had a great stay at the San Boutique Hotel and would recommend it when you're in Hanoi.

They upgraded me to a bigger room with two beds without me even asking, and welcomed me with water and fresh fruit. They also arranged a free taxi to the airport. The staff were the kindest and most helpful I've met. They were quick to respond whenever I needed something and made me feel genuinely welcome. I've never stayed at a hotel or met a team this wonderful. It felt truly magical.
