The staff are what made our stay. They were incredibly friendly, explained the room and gave us plenty of useful information about the city when we arrived. We mentioned to Monica that we were heading elsewhere next and were keen to try Vietnamese food. Later she sent me WhatsApp suggestions for local places serving different dishes, and the food was just what we'd hoped for. That help meant a lot during our three days in Vietnam. We chose an upgraded room for the window and extra space. The view wasn't much, but having natural light was nice. The bed was comfortable, there was room to spread out and a nice sofa, and the bathroom was lovely. Despite being right in the middle of Hanoi, the room stayed quiet. The location is hard to beat. Step outside into the busy morning streets with vendors and bikes passing by. The lake is less than a five-minute walk away, and there are hundreds of places to eat nearby. We didn't try breakfast or the spa, so I can't speak to those. I was very happy with the hotel and service, and would stay again.

The room was spacious, and the facilities and amenities felt complete for a three-star hotel. The price was reasonable too. Staff were very hospitable, even the receptionist remained kind after we checked out. It's also within walking distance of the lake, tourist spots, shops, and restaurants. Thank you!

We only stayed one night, but the service was above and beyond. The room was cosy, clean, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a great deal, with lots of choice and a well-done buffet. After checkout, they let us leave our luggage while we went on an overnight Ha Long Bay trip. When we came back, staff welcomed us at the door and offered drinks even though we weren't guests anymore. The receptionist noticed us struggling with our bags and quickly offered to help us get a taxi. The staff were so polite, friendly, and helpful. A superb hotel, highly recommend.

After a day walking around Hanoi, I was glad to have a lift to get back up and down without taking the stairs. I also had a massage that was done really well and helped relieve my back pain. As a farewell gift, I got some extra hats that I'll put on my wall. The room was clean and nicely decorated, with lovely rose leaves as a welcome. Service throughout the hotel was very good. At the restaurant I had Eggs Benedict, fresh coffee, and a few other things, which made for a great start to the day.

The staff really stood out. Steve, the manager, also known as Buff, looked after us and helped make our trip fun. He speaks great English and helped us deal with a couple of issues that had nothing to do with the hotel. Where's the button for six stars? The hotel is right in the busy Old Quarter, but the rooms were surprisingly quiet. Ours was spacious, spotless, and had modern decor. Breakfast was great, and dinner in the restaurant downstairs is well worth having.
