The drilling was constant throughout the hotel and gave us headaches, so we had to spend the day away and come back only at night. As another reviewer had noted, it was still very much a construction site in January 2026. We were especially upset that nobody warned us before arrival. After paying a premium, the experience felt terrible and we felt cheated. If quiet matters to you, I’d stay elsewhere for now and only consider this place once the work is fully finished.

Breakfast had plenty of variety, and the staff were very friendly. But the hotel was undergoing renovations during our three-day stay, and the spa, gym, and wellness area were closed. Construction noise carried on all three days, even the changing rooms weren’t peaceful. The place really was a building site, and the whole stay was a complete disappointment.

TikTok made this place look like something it wasn’t. The saunas were all switched off when we arrived, and we had to pay extra to use the baths. The saunas and hot tubs are in separate changing rooms for men and women, so going with your partner is pretty awful.

You can walk to the city center in about two minutes, and the balcony view is a nice extra. Our room was spacious and well kept, and we liked the food too. Great hotel for the price, I’d happily recommend it.

If you want to be right in central Sapa, this is a good option, near Sapa plaze and convenient for visiting Fansipan Mountain. The staff were friendly and helpful, and made our stay enjoyable.
