The room felt old-fashioned, though the price was reasonable. What made this stay awful was how little regard the hotel showed its guests. We could smell construction dust in our room each day. On our last morning, work began in the room next door while we were still asleep, with so much noise that our rest was badly disrupted. When we called, staff first claimed the work was in another building. I went to check the neighboring room and saw a "Don't go this way" sign on the door. It was the room right next to ours under construction. Even after several calls and trips to the front desk, the work carried on. Terrible service and experience.
