I always stay there when I visit Hanoi. It feels like home, and you can cook there too. The location is super convenient! The landlord is very, very nice, and her two sons speak English really well, so they can help with any issues you have in Vietnam. Security is good too, with two different access cards and a security guard on the ground floor 24 hours a day. He is VERY KIND as well. Last time a Grab bike driver was scheming, and I couldn't talk to him. The landlord and her son came downstairs to help me. She also has a really good eye for flowers and clothes, so sometimes you get a surprise 😊 For Uber or a taxi, you can tell them “silk path hotel,” right next door, so it's easy for them to find.

The bed was really comfortable, and the atmosphere was nice. It's in a central spot near the lakeside. Excellent stay.
