Acnos Hotel

On my first day in saigon(Ho chi Minh), I was disappointed by the other hotel I'd thought was a nice family place from its website and how well it was presented. It was so dirty and uncomfortable that I had to go out in the rain. Finding this hotel was a coincidence, but the staff welcomed me and were very helpful. They showed empathy and gave me their best room at the lowest room price. The staff were friendly, professional, and serious, and the breakfast was enormously good. I'm fussy, so if I say the breakfast and rooms are good, I mean it. It was much more worth it than the price they ask. Highly recommended.

We stayed on the eighth floor, and I couldn't find fault with the hotel, despite the recent reviews that had made me uneasy. The room was roomy and had AC, a quiet fridge, TV, kettle, amenities, a shower, and a mirror. Everyone on staff was really nice, from reception and room service to the people who helped with our luggage. Breakfast was decent, though breakfasts here in Vietnam are more like lunches. You could eat inside or up on the rooftop.

My room, 104, smelled like sewerage when I checked in Thursday 20th NOVEMBER. The smell kept getting stronger and woke me up, and I threw up and felt dizzy. I asked the front desk for a partial refund, but they refused. It felt like a health hazard, so I moved to another hotel. Save your time and money and stay somewhere else, no matter how nice the receptionist seems.

We told the front desk that our room had all kinds of insects and asked to see another one. The other rooms had insects too, so we didn't want to stay in them. They offered to clean the room, which we agreed to, but when we came back three hours later the insects were there again. We booked another room right away and left. If you hate insects, I don't recommend this hotel.
