Alagon Plus Hotel and Spa

I’ve stayed here three times and always had a great time. Chloe at the front desk made me comfortable by giving me a room better than the one I’d booked. It was quiet, with a comfortable bed. The hotel is right in the city center. Breakfast is a generous, complete buffet, and there’s a pool and spa on the top floor. The staff are friendly and courteous.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, with hot dishes, eggs made to order, cereal, fruit, and purified water. We didn’t get a chance to try the rooftop pool. The staff were friendly, and we had a relaxing stay. I’d recommend the hotel for families. Our room, 819, was large, but being right beside the elevator made it noisy at times. The shower leaked, the rooms felt dated and could use a refresh, and we couldn’t open the balcony door.

Chloe, the manager, was amazing at sorting out and finalizing my stay. She handled everything professionally and with real care. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well presented, and the whole property felt relaxing. There’s a great range of amenities, including the rooftop pool, spa, sauna, gym, and breakfast buffet. I really appreciate the team’s hospitality and would gladly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City.

Gemma deserves a special mention. She communicated well, was friendly and approachable, listened to my concerns, and genuinely tried to address them. The front-of-house service was great, and the breakfast buffet, with its wide variety, was a highlight. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were consistently polite and helpful. Housekeeping was a major letdown. There was visible mold in the shower box and the bathroom floor hadn’t been cleaned properly. Even after I asked for a full clean, they only made the bed. After I spoke to reception, someone wiped the floor, but the shower and the rest of the bathroom still weren’t clean enough. Housekeeping needs significant improvement.
