Aloha Saigon - Hostel - Adults Only

We travel on a budget often, but what this place costs doesn't make up for the hassle. The rooms are unbelievably small for two, and the bathroom setup feels like a joke. You have to stand over the toilet to shower, and even brushing your teeth is awkward because the shelf above the sink leaves too little room to reach it comfortably. The drain was poor, so anything longer than a short shower flooded the floor. We reported it on the first day, but nothing was done. Check-in was difficult and unavailable until 2pm, despite what the advertising claimed. There was only one staff member on duty to handle everything, including cleaning and check-ins. We'd booked three days, but once the manager had our passports, he demanded full payment upfront. After check-in, there was no cleaning and no refill of soap, toilet paper, or clean towels. The manager also insisted we leave our shoes at the door and not take them to our room on the fourth floor. I would advise people not to book this place.
