Amaya Saigon Boutique Hotel

The street can feel like a lot in the evening, with crowds, busy venues, and massage places where women outside try to bring you in. But our stay at Amaya Hotel was amazing, and I want to thank the whole team. They made us feel welcome and were genuinely keen to help. They asked for feedback during our stay, responded quickly when we shared it, and even gave us an upgrade. The hotel is very clean and smells nice, with beautiful facilities, especially the wellness area. Afternoon tea and coffee are included from 12:00 to 14:00, and both the tea and coffee were good. It’s a short walk to the main spots in D1. We had a great stay.

We loved our four-night stay. The staff were welcoming and knew the area well, and breakfast changed daily with plenty of variety. They also cooked fresh eggs just how you asked. The rooms were very clean. There are lots of restaurants and massage spas nearby, and the tourist attractions are walkable. Heart of Darkness, Pasteur, and 7 Bridges Breweries are all close. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

My daughter and I felt like family at Amaya Saigon, and we’ll stay here again when we return to Vietnam. The hotel is beautiful, the service was excellent, and the staff were phenomenal. It’s in a fun part of the city, with restaurants and shops an easy walk away. They serve a great complimentary breakfast at 6:00am. We had to leave at 5:15am for our flight back to the States, and the staff took the initiative to pack us breakfast boxes and cups of their amazing coffee. The whole experience couldn’t have been better.

The staff were the best part for me. Every one of them was amazingly friendly, polite, attentive, and accommodating, and they speak English, so communication was easy. I don’t know if that’s down to training or if Vietnamese people are really that polite, but if the owner taught them to treat guests this way, they did a great job. It’s a new boutique hotel, generally clean and well kept. The bathtub could use a shower curtain, since water splashes out and wets the toilet floor. Japan Street has Japanese food everywhere, and Vincom Centre is an easy walk away.
