It's in a busy market area, so you can find everything nearby, but it isn't quiet, especially early in the morning. The church bells in front of the homestay ring at 4:15 and 4:45 to call for prayer, which is quite a wake-up. For the money, the accommodation is nice, clean, well maintained, and furnished with a fridge, rice cooker, microwave, and cooking plate. The Wi-Fi is fast.
The place is ok, but resting here is hard because it's next to a market and a church. The church bells are very disturbing, waking you at 5 am and then again at 6.
Worst hotel I've dealt with. I told them I had booked through Agoda, but they kept rushing me and wouldn't give me time to make the booking. They asked me to book on LINE instead. I explained that paying by Visa on Agoda would give me discounts and rewards, but they kept asking how much I was buying and still wouldn't let me take my time.
The bed was comfortable, and there was a good wardrobe. The room also had a balcony, a kitchen, a couch, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The TV only had five channels and none were in English.
Good location and cheap, plus there’s a kitchen.
