The owners were very friendly, but this felt more like a room in someone’s home than a proper hotel or guest house. We got there at around 10:30 p.m. and the door was shut. There was only a tiny sign outside, which we nearly missed. The listed address says Pham ngu lao street, but the place is down a small alley, and it was hard to find without Internet.

I was told this mini hotel has eight rooms. It’s pretty quiet, and the bathroom and beds were clean. The blankets, though, were far too old to use.

The place was very clean, and the staff were polite and nice. I’d definitely stay again when I’m in saigon.
