We paid a high price for a month and left feeling that the property wasn’t worth it. An Airbnb would have been easier and much cheaper. The building has potential, but it seemed old and poorly maintained, with bad smells in several areas. I used the pool once because the odor was too strong. Former café or common spaces are now abandoned, with old furniture visible whenever you enter. Hot water was unreliable, and the Wi-Fi dropped three or four times a day. The stay felt more like renting an apartment than being a hotel guest. Soap wasn’t provided, electricity cost extra, and for a month’s stay we had to pay everything upfront plus a deposit equal to the full price. We also had to check, count, and sign for a detailed inventory of kitchenware and furniture, even though many listed items were already missing. That took about 40 minutes on arrival and another 40 at checkout. Arrival was disappointing too. No one helped with our luggage, although we were a family of four with a baby, several bags, and a stroller. There was no trolley. The outside security guard wasn’t rude, but rarely answered greetings. Oddly, after three weeks he told us we could use another entrance without stairs with the stroller instead of going through the garage. Reception staff were better, but didn’t always greet us either, which felt unprofessional. Daily cleaning was poorly handled. Staff forgot things, sometimes left their tools behind, and often missed toilet paper or the right number of towels. They also left lights on, frustrating when electricity is billed separately. When our 1.5-year-old wet the bed, we asked staff to clean it quickly so the mattress wouldn’t be damaged. They agreed but did nothing. At checkout, we were charged €10 for special mattress cleaning because the wet spot had dried. The mattress already had stains from previous guests, so the charge didn’t seem justified. The bathroom smelled of sewage, and cockroaches were seen from time to time. The room was on the first floor beside reception, with windows facing the pool. There were no seals around the windows or the front door, and sounds came through whether the windows were open or shut. When staff arrived at 6 a.m. to get ready and clean, we could hear almost everything. The walls between rooms were so thin that conversations sounded as if they were happening beside us. My husband and I didn’t sleep on three of our four nights. Even earplugs didn’t help. Despite the stylish interior and lovely courtyard, the noise and other problems made this a terrible stay.

We had a lovely four-night family trip. The front desk staff were friendly and flexible, and we really appreciated the free extra bed for our child and the great laundry service. Thank you!

I was there for three days on a work trip and found the service very good, with friendly staff. They told me on arrival that they were overbooked, then gave me a free upgrade to a room better than the one I’d booked. It was in good condition, and I didn’t have to waste time searching for somewhere else to stay just two hours before my meeting. I’d come back if I get the chance.

Lovely staff, nice clean rooms, and a great location. The water heaters make a bit of noise at night, but otherwise it’s a pretty good place.
