We had arranged this months ahead, but ended up having to book somewhere else at the last minute, when the whole city was full. For apartment 3.3, they rent through booking.com, then change the price when you arrive and charge extra for the pool. They also asked us to cancel the booking.com reservation to avoid paying the fees. It felt like a typical scam. They were rude, lied to our face, and caused a lot of needless stress. They should be ashamed.

I found this place on Trip.com, though I’m not sure why Google has only one review. It’s a spacious two-bedroom apartment with two bathrooms, enough room for my family of four. The apartment isn’t new, but it’s furnished well. The location is excellent, just behind Independance palace and near Saigon Post office. The Opera House and Nguyen street are another 15-20 minutes away on foot. Guta coffee and a few Bahn Mi shops are right opposite.
