Beautiful Sai Gon Boutique Hotel

We stayed seven nights, but housekeeping only came twice, and the room was dusty. The hotel is called beautiful hotel, not beautiful Saigon hote, and it's down a narrow alley that's only for motorcycles. There's no swimming pool. The pool shown in the pictures doesn't belong to the hotel.

The location is a big reason I keep coming back. It's right in the heart of Saigon, so getting to lots of places is easy. This was my third stay, and I'll definitely return many more times. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly, and the prices are reasonable. It's my favorite place to stay when I'm traveling in Saigon.

A really pleasant hotel, just a stone's throw from Bui Vien Street but quiet despite being so close. Kenny, the manager, can sort out just about anything or point you in the right direction without charging you an arm and a leg.

The receptionist was apologetic and helpful throughout, even though the decisions were out of her hands. My problem was with management. I booked a basic room on Agoda for the New Year holiday, but at check-in I was told it had been given to another guest who had asked to extend their stay. Management had approved that even though my booking was already in place, and the property hadn't warned me before I arrived. They offered me another room for about twice the price. After a long discussion, with the receptionist often on the phone to the manager, I agreed to take it. The manager asked me to cancel my Agoda booking myself, which was a major red flag. Then, just two minutes after I got into the room, the receptionist came back and said the manager wanted me to move because the room I'd been given cost more. I hadn't caused any of this, but the manager offered no discount and took no responsibility for not providing my booked room. The next room had a view of a wall and still cost twice as much as my original booking, so I turned it down. This was my experience, and I'd suggest avoiding an online booking here. They may not honor it and may try to sell you a more expensive room.
