Bed In Town Saigon

I was exhausted when I checked in, and the room was a shock. It looked nothing like the hotel pictures and was dirty and decrepit, like I'd ended up in a wasteland. During my three days there, they never cleaned the room or changed the towels. It was missing a hair dryer and other essentials. They charged me 50.000vnd for a small red stain on a towel that could have been washed out. Early check-in cost 25.000vnd per hour, while late check-out was 60.000vnd per hour. How is that fair? I'd seen lots of bad Google reviews and thought perhaps they didn't care, based on the way they treated customers.

The reception wasn't staffed all the time, and the bathroom was decent but not spotless. Still, our family suite was clean and spacious, and the location was great. For us, it was worth the price.

We had a great stay and thought it was worth what we paid. The room was spacious, the bed was clean, and the elegant design hints at what this place could become. It needs some care, though. Basic upkeep like dusting and clearing away leaves, rust, and algae would make a big difference and could make it truly spectacular.

We rented two rooms, and both were disgusting. They had no windows and smelled of dampness and sewage. I could barely stand touching anything. When I walked in, I wanted to cry, but it was nighttime and I had no way to leave. This is officially the worst place I've stayed in Vietnam in the last five years. I don't understand where the good reviews come from. The comments about cleanliness and how the hotel really looks are true. Please don't make the same mistake we did.
