Blessed Hotel

The location is in District 7, a residential area with a strong Korean presence. There are Korean restaurants, massage places, a Starbucks, and a Circle K within walking distance, though most places shut around 10 p.m. District 1 is about 6-7 km away, and traffic can make the trip 30-40 minutes. For attractions, nightlife, and shopping, District 1 is more convenient, even if it costs more. We paid around AUD $200 for three nights, from 7-10 February, including breakfast. That seemed like reasonable value, especially since the room was spacious and very clean. The front desk staff were extremely friendly, check-in went smoothly, card payment was accepted, and the breakfast instructions were clear. We got fresh sheets and pillowcases each day, plus plenty of power outlets, good wardrobe space, complimentary water, and a television. A few things needed attention: the towels were old and worn, and one tore while I was drying off. The bathroom mat was frayed, the bed felt a little out of shape, and there was a mild smell from the pillows under the clean covers. Soundproofing was poor too. On the weekend, karaoke from a nearby Korean restaurant made it hard to get to sleep early. Breakfast was decent for the price. The hot meals were filling and nicely served, and the Vietnamese coffee was excellent. The yogurt was basic, just plain yogurt with apple pieces. Also, the sign says “Blessed Service Apartments,” not hotel, and the place looks different from the Google photos, which seem outdated. Don’t be confused when you arrive. It’s a good affordable option if you want a clean place to sleep and don’t mind being outside the city center.
