Bong Sen Hotel Annex

We stayed for 10 days and loved it. The rooftop pool was great, and breakfast had an awesome spread. Our room was a good size, with a super king bed and a big balcony on Level 2. It’s a little dated, but everything worked well. For a 3 star hotel, the value and service are hard to beat. Most markets and other places are about 10-15 minutes away.

We had a good one-night stay and would recommend it, especially for the price. The staff were friendly and efficient. We liked the room here more than the one at the sister property, Huong Sen Hotel: the bed was more comfortable, and the TV had YouTube. Even though it faced a busy road, the traffic noise was fine, and I sleep with ear plugs anyway. The guests also seemed quieter here. For facilities, though, we preferred the sister hotel. This place has a bigger, better pool, but fewer loungers, and the area felt cramped and smelled a bit like drains. We liked the breakfast and its seating area more at the other hotel. We wanted to add another night here, but it was fully booked.

It’s easy to get around on foot from here. The pier, famous landmarks and restaurants are just around the corner, and caphe trung is only a few steps away. We tried the buffet and enjoyed the food. There wasn’t a huge selection, but for the price it was definitely worth it. The staff were thoughtful throughout our stay. We arrived at 11pm and the night staff welcomed us warmly and helped with everything we needed. When we had to check out early for our 5am flight, they even gave us breakfast. We’d definitely stay again!

We liked it so much that we booked again for our last two nights before heading back to the UK. The price was very reasonable for a comfortable stay, and I’d highly recommend it. I stayed here two weeks ago with my partner and our 5yo. I’d heard stories about fake reviews and hotels in Vietnam looking nothing like their pictures, but this was a pleasant surprise. The room was very spacious, cleaned daily, and faced the back, so it was quiet at night. Breakfast was great, the rooftop pool was pleasant and clean, and the location was excellent.
