Central Palace Saigon

A buffet breakfast isn’t available right now, so it’s served as a set menu, which was a small downside. Otherwise, I felt very at home here. The room was clean and cozy, with thoughtful facilities and lovely decorative patterns and details. The staff were friendly and always smiling, and the walking street is just a five-minute walk away. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home in Saigon. 🌿

The front desk team, especially Tracy and Lu Anh, had a great attitude and kept the standards high despite there being few guests while the hotel industry in Saigon is struggling with no tourists. I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very clean and in a great spot in the middle of D1. The sheets are high quality, and the marble bathroom and shower are great. For the price, it’s a very good hotel. Thank you.

Our group of 14 is now scrambling to find somewhere that can take us at short notice. We had booked 7 rooms, confirmed on 17/03/22 for our arrival on 3/6/22, but the hotel cancelled them just 48 hours before we were due to arrive from AUSTRALIA. They gave no reason, no alternative and showed no concern. Emails have gone unanswered, and the phone number on Google doesn’t work, so our attempts to reach the hotel have gone nowhere. Cancelling a confirmed booking at the last minute for international guests is an appalling way to do business. The lack of customer service and empathy is astonishing. This is not a 4 star hotel. A motel in the middle of Botswana would probably do better.

It’s a nice hotel, but the customer service wasn’t great. Staff accused me awkwardly of taking a hand towel and kept me at the front desk while they searched the room. They found the towel, then just said, “Ok, you can leave,” without apologizing for the delay or the false accusation. Reception handled the situation poorly.
