Central Stay Saigon at Vinh Hoi

After more than 12 hours on a bus, we arrived at Vinh Hoi Apartments – Luxury Apartment Furnished Suites in Ho Chi Minh City and were met with cold, disrespectful, unprofessional treatment at reception. The whole experience was humiliating and chaotic. Our reservation had been made over five months ahead, but we were told it had been given to someone else. The property had made a serious mistake, yet offered no solution, no alternative apartment, and no referral elsewhere. We were left out on the street for over two hours without help, support, or even basic courtesy. We were exhausted travelers in a foreign country relying on a confirmed booking, but the staff showed complete negligence and no respect. We were simply abandoned. The reception was terrible, and the lack of responsibility was outrageous. I wouldn’t recommend staying here under any circumstances. If respect, safety, and professionalism matter to you, stay far away.

My father was confused about check-in and asked a few times for clarification because the receptionist’s answers weren’t clear. Instead of helping him, the female receptionist wearing glasses started shouting. He’s an elderly traveler from abroad who was just trying to understand the system. Is that how guests are supposed to be treated? Then a male staff member in a gray uniform insulted him with rude Vietnamese slang, repeating it twice while looking right at him. He and his colleagues laughed at my father afterward. It’s heartbreaking that such disrespect ruined our first experience in Vietnam. I’m deeply disappointed by the service. There was no hospitality or respect.

It’s airy and well kept, and the location is convenient.

Clean, quiet, and secure. A great place for a short trip.
