My main gripe was the locked entrance at night. The young man on guard duty locks the hotel door at 10 pm, then goes to sleep right by it. If you want to go out late or come back after 10, you have to knock and wake him every time so he can let you through. He looked dazed and tired whenever I woke him, and I felt so bad about it that after two nights I stopped going out. I had planned to stay out until dawn on my last day but canceled. I hope they add a way to open the door with our cards or have a guard on duty all night who stays awake. The rest of the place worked well for me: the location is perfect, the room was very clean and cleaned daily. Staff swept, mopped, cleaned the toilet, changed towels, refilled water, and made the bed. There was no safe, but they didn't touch our belongings, so I trusted them. Nearby are great cafes, massage places, barbers, a 24-hour convenience store, and a Pho shop, all within walking distance. The neighborhood got very quiet after 10 pm, with almost all the shops closed. As a Malaysian who's been to Thailand and Singapore, I was surprised how early it felt, though the quiet is nice if you wake early and sleep early. The building is small, but it has a useful lift. It's right at a corner on the main road, so Grab cars have to stop awkwardly in the middle of the turn.

Lots of food spots, massage places, small groceries and mini marts, plus coffee shops, all around this small, cozy hotel. It's in a handy spot for D1, D2, and D4, with plenty of street food there. The team was friendly and easy to communicate with. I also managed two runs by the river, about 10 minutes away.

The staff's kindness and sense of responsibility deserve my highest praise. After a two-night stay, I checked out and accidentally left my passport, 1,500 USD, and 27,000,000 VND in the safe. I called and asked them to check, and they found everything. I offered to send a Grab driver, but they said carrying that much money that way would be unsafe. Instead, a staff member personally came all the way to where I was staying and returned my passport and money. Even most five-star hotels don't usually offer that kind of service. I offered him a tip, but he firmly refused. I'm deeply grateful to the gentleman who brought everything to me. Whenever I come to Ho Chi Minh from now on, this is the only hotel I'll stay at. I was also very satisfied with the room's cleanliness, the location, and the price.

Your response isn't accurate. Around 11 PM I went to the room to get an earring I'd forgotten. There was nobody in the room, no guests at all. You are lying. We booked two nights and everything was fine at first. On the final day, we asked to add one night, and the receptionist said we could book through the website, so we did. She explained that the new room would be different because of the price difference, and said it was being cleaned. We agreed to leave our things in the room we were in while we went out. When we came back, our belongings had been moved to the new room without our permission or even a heads-up. We found that very disrespectful. The new room was damp and smelled really bad, making the stay uncomfortable. Reception staff didn't take the problem seriously and even laughed on the phone, apparently with the manager, while we were upset. We don't recommend this hotel, especially if you care about your belongings and a basic level of comfort.

Our deluxe room with a balcony was on the top floor. It was a decent size and very clean, though the water pressure up there was a little weak. Staff were welcoming and nice. The hotel is near the city center, with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. It's easy to walk around, and most attractions are within about 10 minutes by Grab. Highly recommend.
