La Galerie Hotel

For the price, the rest of the stay was excellent. The room itself was okay, though the water pressure was low. Wi-Fi worked strongly in the hallway, but once I was in the room it became slow and kept disconnecting. I hope they can improve the cleanliness and Wi-Fi.

The galaxy room lighting gives the place a distinctive touch, and the hotel delivers what it promises. Check-in was easy thanks to the friendly staff, and I slept fairly well, even though the bed and pillows felt a bit hard to me. With so many hotels nearby in Ho Chi Minh City, La Galerie offers better value than most. I had a hard time finding anything else to fault, so five stars.

I stayed here for three months for work and liked my time at the hotel. One receptionist in particular, Thang Nguyen, made a big difference. He was energetic, helpful, and very responsible, and did a lot to make me comfortable. I’m grateful to him for making the stay so good. Some of the other reception staff weren’t as good, and at times I found the women at reception unhelpful with foreign guests. Overall, though, it’s a good place to stay.

Really good service, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Amazing hotel, I’ll definitely come back. :D
