We booked three nights but stayed only one before cutting our losses and moving elsewhere. The bathroom was outside the room, something the booking didn’t show. We were told that was fine because we’d have the floor to ourselves, but when I stepped out to use the toilet, a half-naked man was sitting in a grubby-looking massage chair right outside our door. The room door locked us in twice. The manager had to replace the lock battery, though she didn’t believe us when we said we’d been trapped. Water from the shower pooled because its drain is raised instead of being in the floor, then ran outside the room. There was no outlet for the microwave, so it had to be moved onto the floor to use. The manager laughed it off and said there would be no refund. Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Thank you, diamond crown.

There are plenty of food and coffee shops around, which is a plus, but the location isn’t in the city center or near attractions. The room smelled strongly of air freshener mixed with dampness as soon as I walked in. The carpet, door, and balcony were dirty, and the bathroom was filthy from floor to wall. It seemed the staff hadn’t cleaned properly and had only picked up and thrown away the trash. The toilet floor wasn’t cleaned, and there was a yellow, tea-like stain on the bedsheet. I’m a local who enjoys staycations in HCMC, and this was disappointing.

The front desk young man was really helpful, and the bed was comfortable. Nights were especially quiet, so I slept better here than anywhere else in the main city. The shower had hot water, and the AC could get very cold if that’s what you like. It’s not within easy walking distance of the main attractions, though there are food and drink spots all around. I’d stay again if I came back to this area. Just keep in mind there’s no elevator, so it’s not a good choice for bringing your grandparents.

The room design was nice, but the bathroom we had in December 2025 was covered in mould. It was on a whole wall and in the tile grout, with hairs on the floor and walls too. The advertised pictures seem to have been taken when the rooms were freshly prepared. Cleaning clearly isn’t being done properly, and nobody seems to be supervising it.
