Walking into the courtyard feels like stepping into a peaceful private garden. The staff were all kind and thoughtful, and the rooms were big, bright, clean, and well equipped. There are three sets of new washing and drying machines by the lobby, and laundry is free. Lac Cafe is right outside, which is wonderful. The location is central and very convenient. We love this hotel, it’s 10 out of 10 for us.

My first stay here left me very impressed. The room was spacious, and I was comfortable throughout. Staff were extremely kind and attentive, with excellent service. Though the hotel is near a school in District 3, the area was quiet and peaceful. It’s easy to cross the road because it’s one-way, and having a Co-op and GS25 nearby makes things convenient.

The staff were amazing and made everything easy, including contacting us on WhatsApp and cleaning the room every two days. We can’t remember the name of the person who helped us, but thank you to the whole team. They were happy to bring extra pillows when we asked. We booked through Agoda for a good deal and found the stay worthwhile. My partner arrived from the airport at 10pm, and a staff member checked us in easily and showed us to the room. Our studio was spacious for two, with the bedroom separated from a kitchen that had the essentials: microwave, utensils, refrigerator, and a pitcher of drinking water. The bathroom was very clean, with strong water pressure and hot water. Common areas included outdoor tables for eating or relaxing, hot and cold drinking water for refills, and a small free laundry area. It’s a very quiet, walkable area, and we walked from the Ben Tanh Market area to M Village easily. My partner and I plan to book here again when we return to Vietnam. We had a great stay, thanks so much M Village!

The location was great, which is the only reason I’m giving two stars. For the same price, I’ve seen better Airbnbs and homestays, and I regret choosing this place. During four nights, I barely slept, and only managed one night of sleep. There was constant noise from two construction sites next door and inside from a duplex behind the laundry room that was in constant use. The bed was two awful mattresses on the floor, far worse than my futon at home. The staff were nice, but usually weren’t around, so you had to ring a bell every time you needed help. The duplex kitchen was very basic, just a microwave and fridge. Taxis can’t reach the hotel entrance at the end of an alley, which is also blocked during the day by kids posing for TikTok stories in front of a picturesque building. Total regret. Mvillage lost a customer.
