The apartment is modern, with an amazing view from the 49th floor. The pool is great, though unheated; there’s a convenience store downstairs, excellent coffee at Ssome coffee, and a taxi rank just outside. But the facilities let it down. There’s a kettle and no mugs, just 2 wine glasses. The fancy electric curtains in the bedroom didn’t work, and the huge wardrobe had no coat-hangers. The shower is good, but the pressure is temperamental and it got blocked up. Check-in was awkward, and it’s expensive for HCMC.

This is a fake business, not a hotel.

The apartment was clean and modern, but getting in was a hassle, and it’s a long way from the city center. You have to call someone to let you in and operate the fingerprint-locked elevator. They also asked for a deposit when we arrived, which we hadn’t been told about when booking through Booking.com. We booked Ruby Serviced Apartment through Booking.com, and the deposit receipt showed it was managed by the same company. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it for tourists.
