Galaxy Boutique Hotel

The alley location is easy to reach, and the room was just the right size. After a long day walking around, the projector was a nice touch. I first stayed here with my friend before they flew out of Vietnam, then tried another hotel and came back because this place was so good and such good value. Honestly, I can't rate it highly enough.

The bathroom had a clear window facing the house opposite, with no curtain or cover, so there was no privacy. I stayed two nights and found the room extremely small and uncomfortable. The bed felt rough, like rocks, and smelled bad; the sheets looked dirty and didn't seem properly cleaned. The floor was sticky underfoot and unclean, and nobody came to clean the room after the first night. I wouldn't recommend this place.

We arrived at midnight after a flight and were first asked to cancel our Booking.com reservation and pay a slightly lower amount in cash. Then we saw a large rat rummaging around in the kitchen. The room they showed us was small, different from the one we had booked, poorly ventilated, and smelled strongly of mold. There was also a little blood on the sheets. Sadly, it was a poor experience, disappointing and not worth the money. It cost far more than some really nice places we've stayed in. I wouldn't recommend it.

Whenever I visit Saigon, I stay here. The location is central but tucked into a little alley, so nights are quiet. Staff are helpful and polite, and the rooms are clean, nice, and cozy.
