The room was on the small side, but it was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful, and breakfast was simple but enough. I especially liked starting the day on the rooftop breakfast patio. For a budget stay in Saigon, this is a great option. The tucked-away street stays quiet, despite being only a block from a lively late-night strip, and the main sights are centrally located. We’d happily stay here again.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is on a quiet street within walking distance of plenty of bars and restaurants on the local walking street. There was no traffic noise at night, but the very hard mattress in room 302 kept me from sleeping well. We booked a Cu Chi tunnels trip through the hotel. When we came back, they asked how it went, and we said the bus had dropped us quite far from the hotel. We’d thought it would return us to the pickup point. The receptionist didn’t respond to that and moved on to other questions. I’d check the drop-off arrangements for any trips you book.

The staff were the standout for me. When my son had a medical emergency during our stay, they went far beyond their hotel duties and supported us like friends. I can’t explain how much they helped, right up until we boarded our flight home. It’s a budget hotel in the heart of District One, with a decent-sized room, good breakfast, and good facilities. For the price, it’s a steal.
