The location is great, and being off the main road keeps it quiet. There was a loud bird, though, and dogs started barking quite early. Wi-Fi wasn't great on the third floor.

There's no lift, so be ready for the stairs, up to four floors. Lol. Still, I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it. The hotel is tucked away from the main street, which makes it really quiet, and it's super clean. The rooms are new and have everything you need. Staff come in the morning and are very helpful, though Google Translate may help you explain what you need. I think I had the best room, with lots of windows and thick curtains to keep the sunlight out. Thanks for such a great experience.

The owner is very responsive on WhatsApp if you have questions. There's no receptionist: buzz to get in the first time, then the owner will explain over the intercom how to get your room key. The rooms are huge and comfortable, with the basic amenities, though there's no lift and you have to use the stairs, up to four floors. It's near Ben Thanh Market and plenty of restaurants, but sits in an alley off the main street. Look for the nail studio entrance and walk in.

The location is a plus, close to Ben Thanh Market, restaurants, and spas. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the owner did try to address our concerns. But the persistent ants made the stay unpleasant, especially for my daughters. I would have rated it higher if not for the ants and the lack of human contact. We booked two rooms for six nights. The apartment is in an alley off the main street and felt safe, even at night. You have to buzz to enter, then speak through an intercom; there isn't anyone there to greet you. Communication was through the intercom or by calling the owner, which was hard when you couldn't make calls. We only saw the cleaner in the mornings and another worker once, so it was difficult to get help with problems, unlike a hotel with a reception desk. The rooms were basic, with little furniture, but clean and much as shown on the website. Ours were 2A and 2B. There was enough space for our luggage, and the bathrooms were a decent size, but there was no partition between the shower and toilet, so the floor and toilet got wet. In the hot, humid weather, they dried quickly. Both rooms also had loose toilet seats. We reported it and they were fixed the next day, but loose again by day three. Room 2A had many tiny ants. We told the cleaner the next day and thought it had been handled, but it hadn't. One morning my daughter woke with an ant on her face, and more ants had appeared on the bathroom floor. We raised it again with a male worker who was there and said that spraying insect repellent wasn't enough. That night my daughters were moved to 3A upstairs, but there were more ants there the next morning. They seemed to come in from outside through an open roof, crawling along exterior wires by the door. It was worse in 3A, but we didn't raise it again since we were leaving soon. Our room, 2B, had no ant problem. It seemed to affect the rooms on the 'A' side. A review from November 2023 apparently also mentioned ants. Near the end of our stay, it felt awkward whenever we saw the cleaner. She was no longer friendly to my daughters or me, though she was still friendly to my husband, who speaks Vietnamese. She even told him to write a good review. There's no lift, so you have to carry luggage up a flight of stairs. This place may suit people who are fine with very basic service, little maintenance, and no staff around.
