We arrived to find our Double Room had been double booked, even though we had reserved two nights the day before getting to Ho Chi Minh City. Owners Le Nu and Wil kindly found us a room at Hammock House Homestay, in a different alley. The place was spacious and clean, with a private bathroom and balcony. We could do laundry for free, and the hosts were friendly and ready to help. It was in narrow residential alleys that felt safe to walk through even alone. Saigon Bus Terminal was nearby, as were a wet market, food stalls, shops, and restaurants, all easy to reach on foot.
