We booked here again because it's near the night market, but even with a confirmed reservation, reception refused to check us in. They said the hotel was overbooked and offered us a room at another hotel of the same brand three kilometers away. Later, we got an email saying our credit card was invalid and asking us to update it. That didn't seem credible and felt like an attempt to shift the blame after they had denied us a room. Completely unprofessional. One star.

The staff were nice enough to look after my luggage after I checked out, while I went to get breakfast. I was in town about a year ago and needed somewhere affordable for one night, fairly close after landing at the airport. I had no reservation, but it worked out fine. It's a no-frills place, the AC worked, and the room was fairly big. The windows were fogged up so I didn't get a full view, though I was only there to sleep. The price seemed fine. Nothing amazing, but nothing terrible either. If you just need a place to sleep, it's pretty good, and I'd consider coming back if I were in a pinch.

The Superior room was small and moldy, and the toilet was clogged. We asked to upgrade because we couldn't sleep properly. There was no complimentary service and staff didn't apologize, they just focused on charging us. The AC in the new room was hot as hell even after we'd been there over two hours. When we called room service, the woman just said it was working. The AC wasn't clean, and the toilet was clogged again. The floors are all wood. Wouldn't recommend it.

We'd stayed here a few times when visiting VN and liked it, but this was our last stay. Around 2am, hourly guests checked into the next room and played music really loudly while partying until 2-3am. I called the operator downstairs twice to complain, but they kept partying with the music blaring. I won't stay again and wouldn't recommend it to families.
