Hoa My Hotel by OYO Rooms

Not okay at all.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and I liked being outside D1. For a similar price, the hotels there offered much less. The room was clean and roomy enough, with a comfortable bed and working air-conditioning. Staff were polite and friendly, and there’s an elevator to the upper floors. For the price, it worked as decent temporary accommodation.

They've stopped renovating and the hotel isn't operating anymore, but they're still taking bookings. My friend booked a month ahead, and when she got back home, they wouldn't honor the booking.

The water in the shower cut out while I was bathing, and the faucet was broken and loose but hadn't been replaced. The wardrobe was badly eaten by termites, and rooms from the second floor up leak. Maybe it's fine if you just need somewhere to get through one night, but I wouldn't stay longer. After experiencing it, all I can say is, wow.
