Hoang Long Son 2 Hotel

I've stayed at Hoang Long Son 2 for a year, and the manager and staff have all been kind. Twice, I lost my wallet, once inside the hotel and once just outside. Different staff members found it each time and returned it with all the cash and credit cards intact. Both finders refused a reward. I can't say how grateful I am for my stay.

I booked a month at first to see how the hotel was, and I was happy with the facilities, room, and especially the service. They arranged an airport ride for me and my dog when I arrived. My room wasn't ready yet, but they gave me another one where I could relax while I waited. The rooftop deck is a great place to unwind, with beautiful panoramic views. I have no complaints and have now been staying here for four months. A+++

The room felt very uncomfortable: it had no windows, was humid, and the walls and towels were dirty. The TV didn't work either. I asked to switch rooms and was refused. After I canceled the reservation, they never refunded my money.

The air conditioner barely worked better than a fan, and the fridge wasn't cold, so it was basically a lamp-lit cabinet 😅. The Wi-Fi and hot water didn't work either, and nobody cleaned the room each day. Reception couldn't communicate in English. The nearest convenience store was a 20-minute walk away. They charged a spooky price for two compulsory bottles of water. Wouldn't recommend at all!
