Soho Residence D1

We arrived after booking a deluxe studio in this serviced apartment building and quickly saw that something was off. The apartment looked nothing like the photos: it was dirty, had old furniture, and its “city view” faced a construction site. The host then told us, without having warned us, that we'd been downgraded to a different apartment. When we checked the bed, we found three hairs that weren't ours in the sheets. The plates were dirty, there was barely any shampoo or body wash in the shower containers, and the floorboards were coming apart. We contacted the host about the sheets. A man we hadn't approved showed up at our door and spent over 20 minutes struggling to change them, so we had no idea who they'd sent. The replacement sheets had stains and bleach marks. After we told the host, another person came while we were out and changed them again, but the sheets were too small, had holes, and the duvet was left outside its cover. The host said she'd arrange another room the next day, blaming the weekend for having no rooms, even though other rooms were bookable online. While we were out exploring, she called to say she'd found a two-bedroom apartment, which I agreed to. Then she texted that it would cost 800k VND extra, so we'd have to pay to fix their mistakes. When we asked for a refund, she mostly stopped responding and avoided our complaints. Eventually she offered 300k back, nowhere near the 4 million VND we paid. The listing also claimed there was a pool and luggage storage, but the lobby security guard knew nothing about either. The host was completely unprofessional, repeatedly saying her boss would call to sort things out, then saying she was busy. This went on for three days, and I doubt it. Wouldn't recommend it unless you want to be downgraded to a dirty room.
