Rich Hotel

The beach and local restaurants are perfectly placed nearby. Desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the cleaners were lovely and efficient.

The hotel is in a nice location, and the staff are friendly. Apart from the construction, it’s a good budget hotel. But building work started at 6 a.m. after we’d already spent a few days traveling, and the drilling, banging, and tapping were rough. We checked out two days early and went to Hoi An for some peace and quiet. If you’re an early riser the noise might not bother you, but keep it in mind before booking.

The staff were friendly, and motorbike rental was cheap and easy. The bed was okay, but the water was unpredictable and a little scary. There was mold, and the place seemed to have been renovated from an older hotel. The sockets were hard to plug into, and the door was difficult to open and close.

I couldn’t sleep all night because of construction noise. My sea-view room was noisy, dirty, and very expensive, and the windows wouldn’t lock. I asked to change rooms, but the hotel said I’d need to pay extra to move to a cheaper, quieter room. That’s ridiculous when I’d booked the most expensive room there. They told me to complain to agoda. Bad hotel, I won’t come back.
