The location was the highlight. The street had everything we needed, including an early food cart across the road selling Banh Mi and coffee. A coffee and big Banh Mi cost just $1.50. Ben Thanh Market was a few minutes away on foot, and Ben Nghe Street Food Market took about 15 minutes to walk to. The hotel itself looked a little dated outside and in the lobby, though our room was in great shape. We skipped the included breakfast for the food cart, and didn't get a chance to see the rooftop pool. The place could use some updating. We stayed four nights after booking months in advance. We had chosen a city-view room, the more expensive option but still cheap, with extra space and a nice-looking bathtub. We arrived a bit early and could check in. The front desk woman and other staff were friendly, the card payment was correct, and we signed forms about damage and excessive mess before going up. On the fourth floor, the room had corner windows on both sides and the promised city views. It was spacious, with a huge bed, cold AC, free WiFi, a mini-fridge, and a safe. The bathroom looked nice, but the bathtub wasn't practical for us. With no shower curtain, it was hard to shower without making a mess, so next time we'd probably choose a shower. The walls were a bit thin, and we heard noise from the floor and other rooms, but not traffic. We still slept well. We checked out early for our flight and wondered if there'd be any complaint about dirty towels, as others had mentioned. Everything went smoothly, with no extra charges. It may not be the biggest or most modern hotel, but we liked the room, the views, and the location.

I loved the simple, clean room, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable price, and the amazing breakfast buffet included with the room. One thing I admire is that the hotel is working to help the environment. I've stayed at plenty of hotels in HCMC, and I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try.

The views were incredible, and the beds were soft. The staff were amazing and the air-conditioning got nice and cold. The shower had heaps of pressure, though the water was a bit cold. Loved staying here.

We had booked three rooms and arrived a little early. My 3-year-old daughter had a medical emergency, and both she and my wife were covered in blood. Even after repeated requests, we weren't given a single room. The morning receptionist was rude, arrogant, and highly unprofessional. Two of the rooms were terrible, with broken flooring and fungus in the bathroom. The pool and the area around it were dirty. All three rooms were booked to the same specifications, but they were inconsistent and not up to the mark, as the photos show. Hotel management, please change the morning receptionist or you'll lose all your business from the tourism industry.
