The food was delicious, and having breakfast included was worth it. We tried local delicacies without leaving the hotel, which saved time and money. The room was absolutely worth every penny, too. We liked the peaceful, comfortable atmosphere so much that we spent a whole day relaxing there. It really felt like home away from home. The hotel is a lovely surprise: the alley leading in has plenty of character, but behind it we found a beautiful, spacious, relaxing place, like a secret oasis in the middle of Ho Chi Minh City. The staff made the stay, all hospitable and welcoming. The front desk team helped with check-in and wished us a good night, and Helen shared useful tips about places to visit around the city. The restaurant staff were smiling, attentive, and helpful at breakfast. One gentleman greeted us cheerfully with “Hello!” every day, helped with our bags, and always made us smile. When we waited for our Grab, they even brought us refreshments. I’d give the stay 100/10, and we’ll book KunKin Garden Hotel again when we return to Ho Chi Minh City.

The staff made a big difference during our stay. They kindly received our wedding and photo packages, kept everything secure, and made sure it all arrived safely. We’re grateful for their support and warm hospitality. The rooms were spacious, cozy, comfortable, and well maintained, and the hotel was clean. We also loved the peaceful pool area for unwinding after a long day. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with thoughtful options each morning. We had a wonderful stay at KunKin Garden Apartment and would highly recommend it for a visit to Ho Chi Minh City. 💕✨

The staff were generally attentive and helpful, and apart from two problems our stay was pleasant. The shower never got beyond lukewarm. Also, the iron we requested to press a shirt had a burnt soleplate with no non-stick coating. Even on low heat, one pass scorched the shirt. We reported it, but nobody offered a fix or compensation.

A special thanks to Helen, who was friendly, efficient, and supportive throughout our trip. She went above and beyond with our requests and helped arrange food, activities, tours, and booking options. The rest of the staff were mostly courteous and helpful too. Kunkin Garden Apartment Hotel is a cozy, lovely place to stay in Ho Chi Minh City. It’s away from the city hustle but still close to nearby landmarks and a few places, most just 5-10 minutes away. Thanks for making our stay pleasant. I’ll definitely consider coming back. 🙌🏼 🤓

The best part was the bed, incredibly comfortable, with the nicest hotel sheets I’ve ever seen. Sleeping there was 100/10. The breakfast choice was quite limited, and it only runs until 9:30. I saw lots of people arrive close to the end and get turned away. I think breakfast should run until 10am. The indoor pool looks nice as decoration, but it doesn’t really work as a place to chill. As for the bathtub rooms, I don’t think the extra cost makes sense. The tub is on the balcony of a ground-floor room, facing an actual street with people and bikes going past. When I complained about the lack of privacy, reception told me all bathtub rooms are on that floor and I should use the curtains. They don’t cover everything and are see-through, so I still didn’t feel comfortable bathing there. If I’d known, I would have chosen a normal room. I’d still recommend the hotel, just not the bathtub room, it isn’t worth it.
