We spent three nights here and really can’t recommend it enough. It was nice to have the included breakfast in our room, and the cafe in the restaurant was simple, with fresh, very good food. Our room was nicely decorated, with thoughtful, homey touches, and had a kitchenette with a cooktop, refrigerator, and coffee and tea makings. It was very clean. The English-speaking staff were positive and wonderful. They helped set up a scooter tour of the city and an evening food tasting tour, and got us a taxi to the airport.

A nice little hotel right in the heart of Saigon, very near the Opera House and in the middle of Little Japan Town. The staff are really friendly. The bed is comfy, the water pressure is strong, and the AC is cool. My one suggestion would be a shower curtain so water doesn’t splash all over the toilet.

The location in little Tokyo worked well for us, and we could walk to all the local attractions. We stayed over Christmas, and the staff put on a Christmas party, which was a nice personal touch and a chance to get to know them better. Everyone was attentive, knew the area well, and gave us great suggestions for dining and touristy places. Breakfast had a limited range, but the food was good quality. Before check-in, the hotel emailed directions in Vietnamese. We showed them to our taxi driver and had no trouble reaching the hotel, about a 30-minute drive from the airport. Check-in was seamless, and our room was ready even though we arrived three hours early.

The hotel itself was lovely and comfortable, and the location was really convenient. We only realized later that it sits on Japan Street, known as the red light district in HCMC, with the famous “cherry spa” directly across the road. That didn’t bother us, though, and the girls there didn’t approach us. Breakfast wasn’t great, but the service and the hotel were fantastic.

The room was spotless and so cute, and there were little surprises around the place, including a jar filled with witty sayings. The street has a fun mini-Japan feel, and the location is central with tourist attractions close by. This was our favorite stay of the trip. If I return to Saigon, I’ll stay here again.
