For a few days it was okay, but I expected more. The room had a parquet floor, a desk big enough to work at, blackout curtains, and good Wi-Fi. The staff were kind. Cleaning could be better, although the toilet was fine. There was no shower cabin or curtain, an easy improvement they could make, but perhaps the usual Viet “good-enough attitude” gets in the way. The room sat between a pickleball court out front and a school behind, and a neighbor renovated his house every day. The windows were basic single panes with zero noise insulation. This is more like a condotel, so don’t expect full hotel service. The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of light and good air conditioning, but there was no TV. The receptionist was efficient and helpful, and decent food stalls are just around the left corner at the hotel exit. It’s useful for a short transit stay or if you need to be near the airport to avoid central district traffic. The hotel is off the main road, a 45-second walk through a small alley, with a flight of 8 steps to carry luggage up. The airport is only a 5-10 minute drive away.

For my first staycation, choosing M Village felt special as a Saigon native. I could feel the founder’s warm spirit throughout the visit, something I’d appreciated through his coffee brand. The staff were very kind and attentive, and the room was clean. The price felt fair for the location. I was a little disappointed that M Village doesn’t recognize booking history when a stay is booked through Agoda. It was a small setback, though it didn’t take away from the lovely experience.

The staff were kind, and the rooms were roomy, comfortable, and very clean, with all the amenities I needed. Free laundry is available on the ground floor. Thanks, I’d come back again!
