Prague Saigon Airport Hotel

I booked this place in under a minute after my flight was delayed by 24 hours, and I’m glad I did. The room was spacious and clean, and there are plenty of food stalls and restaurants nearby. Getting to the airport is convenient too. The staff are always ready to help load and unload luggage, which I rarely see in the States. I’ll come back when I need some rest and an easy trip to the airport without traffic stress.

The only person who really helped us was the bell boy. He was kind, apologetic and genuinely understanding, with better service than the front desk. The receptionist, by contrast, wasn’t helpful. We checked in late and got what seemed like the worst rooms: our two family rooms were on separate floors at opposite ends of the building. Room 306 was damp, with visible mold and fungus on the walls and ceiling. The other room looked cleaner, but bathroom water leaked into the bedroom. Both rooms had poor sound insulation, so we could hear everything from the hall and neighboring rooms. I wouldn’t recommend this place, and its rating is misleading.

The location was convenient, and the bell men came right out to take our bags and were friendly. We’d come in the morning hoping to nap before a late-night flight, but there was extremely loud construction noise from the building next door. We called reception several times; they said they’d ask for it to stop. After 45 minutes with no change, my husband went down and was told they couldn’t do anything because the work was next door and usually went until 5pm. They offered a single room, a full refund if we left, or a 30% discount to stay. He wanted to leave, but by the time he came back upstairs our exhausted toddler had fallen asleep despite the noise, so we stayed. I managed about 20 minutes of sleep before repeatedly waking up, and my husband barely napped. We understand the hotel couldn’t control the neighboring building, but we wish they’d been honest and communicated this in advance. An email warning guests about construction from 8 to 5 would have let us choose another hotel. Most guests might be out during the day and return after the noise ends, but we needed daytime rest. We left for the airport tired and exhausted.

I was only here for one night because my connecting flight was the next day. The room was clean and nice, and the lack of windows didn’t bother me for such a short stay. With the airport nearby and the price being good, I’d recommend it.
