Centana Saigon Hotel

I was curious about the hotel after reading the online reviews, so I went to see it before booking. The room was cool with the AC on, clean and nice, with no bugs, mold or leaks. Once I booked and moved in, everything was the same as during my visit. The receptionist and the two ladies who handle room service were all super nice and friendly. I’m really happy I chose this hotel for my last couple of days in Saigon. It wasn’t expensive for the quality of service, and I’d book again if I get the chance to visit Vietnam.👍❤️

I rented a bike, but there was no parking in front of the hotel, which was a downside. Otherwise, it was a pretty decent place. The hotel is handy for walking to Ben Thanh market and other central spots. The furniture isn’t new, but it’s clean and does the job if you need somewhere to recharge and store luggage.

The staff were okay, but that was about the only good thing. The hotel is run-down and noisy, and the rooms were dirty with broken appliances. The cleaning ladies never changed my sheets. Poor value for money overall, since you can find much better places for the same price.

The location was great and the price was very cheap, but the rooms were a bit dirty and not very nice to stay in. We only stayed one night and probably wouldn’t book again. At check-in, the guy didn’t understand us at all. I get that speaking English can be hard in another country, but he seemed like it was his first day on the job. We were glad we had somewhere else to stay for our following nights in Ho Chi.
