The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and the place was super clean. My room was bright, with good air conditioning and everything I needed to be comfortable for a few days. Laundry service was great, and room service was reliable too. M Village Living Kỳ Đồng is in a comfortable spot where everything is close by, while the neighborhood still felt local and not overly gentrified. It was a lovely place to arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, and I’d go back.

There’s some traffic noise because the hotel is close to the main road, though the doors and windows insulate reasonably well. With earplugs, I could barely hear it. The bathroom also has a proper wet and dry separation. My Premium Room matched the photos: spacious, with new, clean sofa and bedding, plenty of natural light, and a balcony overlooking the street and neighborhood. I enjoyed that view. The location is great. My only small inconvenience was having no refrigerator in the room in this hot climate, so guests have to use the shared one in the basement. District 3 was a lovely base, with plenty of cafes and food nearby. It has a local feel but still puts the main things to do in District 1 within easy reach. Our apartment was spacious and decorated beautifully, and the on-site kitchen and laundry were brilliant. We also had cooking facilities and a fridge/freezer in the room. Someone was always available to answer questions, and the service was excellent. We’ll stay at M-Village Ky Dong again.

The room itself was great, clean, with a balcony, a nice view, and a really high ceiling. We had booked the most expensive option, the Duplex, 602, but there was no hot water. The bigger disappointment was the service, which lacked the genuine, personal care we had wanted. We were there for our wedding, and friends who had traveled from Russia arrived before us. Though they were in the hotel’s loyalty program, they were told at 2:00 PM that early check-in didn’t apply and their room wasn’t ready. When we arrived later, we waited outside for about five minutes for someone to come open the reception door, standing on the driveway as motorcycles passed around us. As I get older, good service matters more to me, especially since it feels rare. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the place to find it.
