Merin City Suites

The building is old, and you can tell from the equipment, though the apartment had plenty: an iron, washing machine, microwave, big fridge and an unusual gas stove. A large tree shades the whole place, so it stays cool in summer, but insects come in if you leave the window open. There’s also a 350,000 VND nightly charge for a guest staying with you, which I found unreasonable. For the location, furnishings, full equipment, and separate bedroom and living room, 10 million VND seems fair. I was at Merin City Suites during the Covid 19 peak and lockdown in HCM, with mass testing from May to Oct 202. Ms An @ the apartment was helpful and kept me updated about testing and when to get vaccinated. The location is good, near eateries, a night street market and a supermarket. MSB bank is on the ground floor, so I guess it feels rather safe.
