Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel

The location in district 1 is pretty much perfect, especially for first time visitors to saigon, with most popular areas just a short walk or ride away. I had a flight issue, and the concierge was super helpful. Checkout was just as impressive as check-in, and all the staff were amazing. I only stayed one night, so I can only speak to the room and staff, but both were phenomenal. Everyone, from the door lady to reception, welcomed me warmly and was professional and friendly. Check-in was quick and easy, and they let me into the room three hours early even though I don’t have high tier marriott status. The room was fantastic, a good size, clean, and with fixtures that all worked and were in good shape. Great shower temperature and pressure, a separate bath tub, and a big comfy bed. The TV was huge, maybe 65" or 75". The bathroom amenities were excellent, like you’d expect at a good 5 star hotel. There’s also a very small patio that isn’t advertised. The sliding glass door is kept locked, and you have to sign a waiver to have it unlocked. I think that’s because the railings are pretty low. It’s convenient for smoking, but too shallow to sit and hang out. Highly recommended.

The hotel’s central location was perfect, close to the Opera House and plenty of attractions and restaurants. I had a memorable stay at Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel. Anh Pham at reception was calm, polite, and professional, and made check-in smooth with her clear communication and gentle manner. Nương, the room attendant, was also very kind and well-mannered. After cleaning, she took careful care of my Pandorobou doll (the bread thief), which was a thoughtful, heartwarming gesture. Thanks to the entire Sheraton team.

We were travelling with our 3-year-old and felt well looked after throughout our three nights at Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera. The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and quick to help. Our room was new, modern, and very spacious, which made a big difference with a child. The location was excellent and made it easy to get around the city. The buffet breakfast had plenty of options and was very good, and we enjoyed the lounge afternoon tea with its mix of sweet and savoury bites. The pool and gym were clean and well maintained. Since we were there just before Christmas, the festive feel around the hotel made the stay even nicer. We had a great experience and would definitely stay again.

The room was comfortable and modern, and the breakfast spread was good. There’s a nice gym, a small pool, and a casino on site. The location felt almost central, with short walks to popular sights like Notre Dame Cathedral and the Post Office. There’s also a Circle K right outside the lobby. Great service and a solid base for exploring Ho Chi Minh City. Highly recommended!
