Getting to the check-in counter means climbing a steep, narrow staircase, which would be rough with heavy or large bags. The guy at the front desk didn’t seem attentive or informative, and the hotel’s cleanliness was well below par. It also sits above a massage palour. The location is the main draw, right in the heart of District 1, across from my favourite local market, Cho Thai Binh, and about 300 metres from the infamous Pham Ngu Lao. But if you want somewhere clean and relatively quiet, don’t consider this place. It’s right at a round-about where motorbikes keep going by like a carousel, even late at night. Seeing people give this hotel 5 stars is UNBELIEVABLE! Good luck.
