Nesta Hotel Saigon

The location made it easy to get around: markets, a major shopping mall, restaurants, and some major sights were only a minute away. After long, hot days, the rooftop pool was a welcome break. Breakfast exceeded what we expected, and the bed was comfortable with good-quality linens. It’s a good choice if you want a clean, basic room and excellent service from the staff. Special thanks to Tla for doing such a wonderful job with housekeeping. We had a lovely stay.

The restaurant was good, and the breakfast buffet had lots to choose from. It’s a nice hotel, though the area is busy. Our room was either freezing or warm, and we couldn’t adjust the temperature, so we kept switching it on and off. We asked several times to get it fixed, but nothing came of it.

I stayed for a week and felt safe and happy with both the service and the location. The staff were friendly, and the hotel is right in the center of Ho Chi Ming. My windowless room was very clean, cosy, and had everything I needed, including a safety box. It was quiet at night, and breakfast was good. There’s also a small outdoor pool. I’d come back. 😊

The location is the one good thing here. The room, food, service, and the rest of the stay were very poor, and I regret booking. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend Nesta Hotel Saigon, especially to anyone traveling with luggage or expecting basic hospitality. I booked a Superior Twin Room, but it was so cramped that two large suitcases took up nearly all the space, leaving barely any room to move. The staff made things worse. The woman at reception in a black dress and mask was rude and unhelpful, answering almost every request with “No.” It felt like they didn’t want to assist guests. For Indian guests, there weren’t proper vegetarian options. Breakfast was just bread, butter, fruit, and eggs, with no Indian dishes or even basic vegetarian food, and no separate vegetarian menu. There are much better places in Saigon.
