Nhat Ha Maison Hotel

The location is good, but the room had a bad smell and seemed old, with drainage trouble, cracks, and stains on the bed, pillow, and sheets. Check everything carefully, because I felt they blamed me and charged whatever they wanted. Dealing with Kevin was especially unreasonable and difficult. We called ahead and were told about a different discount and that children under seven stayed free. We then booked through agoda, but on arrival they said kids weren't free and started adding charges. We ended up paying more and dealing with extra headaches.

The room was large and fairly clean, but the bed linens weren't changed during our four nights, and the shower gel and shampoo weren't refilled. One day, a towel was mouldy. I was also very upset to be charged for a bath towel stain from my hair wax. I've travelled to many countries and never been charged for a washable stain like that. I won't return.

Friendly staff and a good location, but the rooms are old and not soundproof. The rate can be quite a bit higher than for hotels at the same level.

I've stayed here many times, but my last visit was awful. I arrived late and found old yellow urine stains on the toilet seat, the floor, and the nearby bin lid. The sink and bath were dirty too. I reported it and they cleaned the bathroom, but I had to leave early the next day and never got a follow-up call or compensation. The response was appalling. If cleanliness is a priority when you book, I'd avoid this place. They seemed happy to take my money without caring about hygiene.
