Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Saigon

The birthday surprise meant a lot and was such a thoughtful touch. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and a comfortable place to relax after a long day. I stayed at Oakwood Hotel and Apartments Saigon from 28 January to 1 February and had a wonderful visit. Harry and Jayce deserve a special mention for being so friendly, helpful, and efficient. They made everything easy and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Thanks to the Oakwood team for the excellent hospitality. I’d happily come back and highly recommend it.

Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choices and everything presented nicely. The hotel is also conveniently located for getting around and seeing nearby attractions. The place felt luxurious, clean, and peaceful. My room was spacious, had modern amenities, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. I’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

The construction noise inside the hotel started as early as 7am, and there’d been no notice to guests. I raised it with the front desk, but it affected my rest and comfort. The room layout was awkward too: the toilet sits between the living area and bedroom along a narrow walkway. Turning on its light lit up the entire room, which was inconvenient at night, and some windows lacked blackout curtains, so the morning sun kept waking me early. I spent four nights in a Studio Executive at Oakwood Hotel & Apartments. Staff were hospitable, polite, and professional, giving a welcoming first impression, and housekeeping was acceptable. The room was clean when I arrived. Still, compared directly with M Village Signature Lê Thánh Tôn, Oakwood’s overall standards didn’t quite measure up. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t choose Oakwood again. Other travellers may have different expectations or room preferences, though, so I’d still suggest considering it for yourself. Your experience may be different from mine.

The gym is a nice extra, and the location works well, close to cafes and shops while still quiet enough to relax. Rooms are modern, clean, and well equipped, and the staff are super friendly and always ready to help. A comfortable, convenient place in Saigon. ❤️❤️❤️
