The apartment was in a handy spot, about three minutes from the city center, with cafés, small supermarkets, and a park nearby. I only stayed one night, but getting around was easy, and the high-up city view was lovely. Inside, everything felt clean, modern, and elegant, with all the comforts and equipment of a real home. The host was so friendly and kind. She spoke Chinese, which was a happy surprise and made me feel welcome. I’d gladly stay here again if I get the chance.

The apartment smelled strongly of cigarette smoke when we arrived, and we found that several things shown or promised on Booking.com weren’t there. There was no daily housekeeping, safe, hairdryer, bedroom TVs, or access to the advertised pool and gym. We even had to buy our own toilet paper, which I expected to be included with daily cleaning. The agreed total was 31,617,723 VND, but a staff member tried to charge 35,000,000 VND until we disputed it. After I said we’d pay by card, they said the next day’s payment had to be cash. We transferred $1,100 AUD and paid the rest in cash. Staff then said the transfer hadn’t gone through and tried to get us to send it again, until we showed the confirmation. The whole payment process was very concerning and unprofessional. I contacted the person in charge about these issues and was blocked. Booking.com couldn’t reach an agreement with the owner either. Very disappointing. In response to the owner: we booked through Booking.com and definitely stayed in this building. The person we dealt with moved us to a two-bedroom apartment even though I’d booked one bedroom. I assume that was because they tried to scam us and we found out. We were on level 11, room 22, and I can provide the room PIN. The view shows it was your opera building, and the kitchen in my photo matches the one in your listing. I won’t delete this review.
