River View Apartment & Hotel

I went to look at three rooms for a possible stay the following night. The mold was hard to miss, especially in the bathrooms. The bathtub design lets dirt and water collect underneath, in a space that's very difficult for housekeeping to reach, so it seems never to get cleaned. This same problem affects many places around here. I hope the owners or managers find a definite fix. At the prices being charged, they should be able to arrange a deep clean or renovate.

The internet was slow, and the TV showed pictures without sound. A staff member came by and told me to watch YouTube instead of IPTV. The cup wasn't clean, and staff didn't seem to know I was arriving. No one could speak English when I checked in. I could also hear loud talking and shower sounds from the next room, and staff had been smoking in my room just before check-in.

A good option for a long business stay. The room was large and good, and the family running the place were friendly and caring. It's also a very convenient base for getting around, close to the Japanese crowd.

Someone entered my room and forced open my luggage. The lock on my suitcase had been changed.
